Modern Warfare 3 features an extensive multiplayer mode that includes new maps and game modes such as Kill Confirmed and Team Defender. The player takes control of various characters throughout the single-player campaign as they battle through locations such as New York City, London, Paris, Hamburg and other cities across Europe. This sets off a chain reaction that leads to a global war between Russia and the United States.
